Players go through graduation ceremonies to celebrate the conferring of their degrees on Friday

Check out some pictures from USC’s 125th commencement on Friday, when players turned in their shoulder pads for college diplomas (read the USCRipsIt story about the 20 players who earned their degrees over the past two semesters):

All-American linebacker Keith Rivers, who was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals with the ninth pick of the NFL Draft just three weeks ago, goes through graduation ceremonies at USC on Friday. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public policy, management and planning.

Former players Travis Draper (political science), Alatini “Tiny” Malu (sociology) and Dale Thompson (sociology) participate in today’s commencement ceremonies at USC.

Safety Josh Pinkard, a rising senior, poses with his brother on graduation day at USC on Friday. Pinkard has only one class remaining before receiving his bachelor’s degree in sociology.

The Galen Center is host to the business school’s graduation ceremony Friday. Jim Abbott, a four-year member of the Trojans as a cornerback, received his degree in business administration today at the Galen Center event.

President Steven B. Sample addresses the audience of roughly 40,000 in a festive Alumni Park on Friday morning during USC’s 125th annual commencement.
