The Trojan Family extends near and far, across states and continents. For this weekend’s season opener, find out just how much the Cardinal and Gold covers the globe:

International locales

Percy Palomar – “I’m a '07 SC grad currently stationed in Guam with the Navy.  I'll be watching the game from here.”

Craig Iwamoto – “I hope I am the farthest. I will be watching from Tokyo, Japan… I’m here DJing on tour.”

Major Kevin Kim – “As a proud Trojan alum, I will be watching this year's season opener against Virginia while stationed at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea on the Armed Forces Network.”

Todd O'Gara – “Sydney, Australia, just finishing up grad school here, but would never miss kickoff of my boyz of Troy.”

Bruce Garipay – “I will be watching the game in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at a local sports bar. Usually there are a few Trojans around to high five with after a score.”

Dave Dewan – “I’ll be in Toronto, Canada watching the SC game (and every other college football game, that is).”

Lee M. Polster – “I’ll be watching it on satellite TV from my boat about 75 miles offshore of Baja, Mexico.”

East of the Mississippi

Andy Guyon – “I am a high school coach in Connecticut. We are going to be doing a fund raiser on Saturday after our AM scrimmage, so I will be in our football offices watching the game on the computer. FIGHT ON!!”

Judy Madden – “I may not be the farthest, but I'm in a strange spot. I'm an '84 SC grad, (band alum, even) who works at Notre Dame.  I'll be keeping an eye on the game as I conduct a retreat this weekend. Rest assured, I'm all Cardinal & Gold, even here in enemy territory.”

Josh Matta – “I’ll be watching the game during my daughter's 3rd birthday party in Howell, Michigan!”

Jason Sanden – “Watching from Sea Isle, New Jersey.”

SGT Paul H. Li – “I will be watching the UVA game here at Fort Knox, KY bleeding Cardinal and Gold in SEC/Big East country.”

Alan Barron – “Myself, my son and two grandsons will be in our seats at Scott Stadium to watch the Trojans win. Fight On!”

Sandi and Darrell Contreras – “We will be watching the game in Lakeland, FL, which is by Orlando.  We had to call our cable company because it said on the TV that they were showing Michigan vs. Utah – huh what?  Anyway, we got it squared away and 3:30 game time, glued to the couch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Peter Alilunas – “Ann Arbor, Michigan.”

West of the Mississippi

Karen French – “My two best friends and I will be watching the game from my farmhouse out here in east central Iowa!  My daughter was the band manager last year so we're huge fans of the band too! Fight On!”

Sam Moore – “I’ll be watching in Topeka, KS.  I haven’t missed a game in four years.  Even if I have to buy it; I won’t miss one play.  Even if the game’s on ABC, here they will often run ‘regional.’”

James Carter – “Along with several friends and alumni we'll be watching the Trojans from Albert Pujols’ sports-bar in St. Louis.”

Bill McCauley – “In Juneau, AK.  Air time here is 11:30AM.”

Jack Sibley – “I’ll be watching in Sun City, Palm Desert.”

Cole Sweatt – “At my house in El Dorado Hills, CA with about 10 USC fans in the neighborhood!”

Richard Taylor – “I moved 3 years ago from LA to Oklahoma City, I live off Sooner Rd, which is the main Road into Norman and where OU plays. I fly my 8 ft wide SC banner from my house every game day!!!”

Sandy – “We’ll be watching from the home of my brother-in-law Gary Mustain in Springdale, Arkansas!! Go Trojans!!”

Duane & Liz Schmitz – “My wife and I will be watching the game from Belen, New Mexico, with the phone off of the hook so that none of these conehead non believers will be calling during the most important game of the day.”

Katie McConnell – “We (a few USC alums) will be watching the game at home in Elko, Nevada!”

James Munson – “I live on Orcas Island in Washington State which is 30 miles offshore.  I watch all USC games in my den, next to 600 feet of shoreline.   I graduated in ’55 and am one gung ho Trojan fan.”

The Williams Family – “We have two boys with USC names of Troy and Tommy, a dog named Trojan, horse named Coliseum, and six die-hard USC Trojan fans. We’ll be hosting a USC party in Valleyford, WA, which is about 20 minutes south of Spokane, WA.  We have the only USC Football Helmet mailbox around. My wife serves Trojan Dogs (like those sold on carts outside the Coliseum) and a feast of various great tasting football food. The Cardinal and Gold colors will be represented quite well inside and outside the home, and the entire family will be clothed in USC gear!”

William Brown – “I will be watching deep in the heart of University of Texas country (San Antonio, Texas). I still have to put up with a lot of flak from these people, so make me proud SC!!!!!”

Houston Trojans will be at Buffalo Wild Wings Midtown Location on 510 Gray St.

Chris Pace – “Trying to sneak status glimpses in while at my daughter’s wedding!!!”
